Wood is currently recruiting for Field Engineer / Coordinator to join our team in Port Campbell to provide Field Engineering and Completions Support within Brownfield SMP Projects and Maintenance SIB (Stay in business) environment from September.

Reporting to the Senior Supervisor, the ideal candidate will be accountable for providing support to Site Supervisors, projects, maintenance & commissioning teams.

Responsibilities

Scope of Work

- Accountable for identification, preparation and timely close out of all site-based Technical Queries

- Support the Maintenance Work Order scoping of break in scopes and accountable for raising request for hours in readiness for scope approval.

- Responsible for preparing and issuing daily reports in a timely manner

- Responsible for preparing and issuing progress reports in a timely manner

- Assist with Job Card / Schedule / Progress review

- Responsible for ensuring correct AFC engineering revisions are available in work packs

- Accountable for identification, preparation and timely close out of all site-based Technical Queries

- Co-ordinate timely delivery of materials, plant and equipment to match work fronts





- Assist with site-based Toolbox talks / HAZID / JSA / Risk assessments

- Arranging registers for plant and equipment and co-ordinating maintenance and re-certification as required.

- Assist with co-ordination of sub-contractors and 3rd parties

- Ensure transparent communication between site-based team and office-based personnel

Qualifications

What makes you remarkable?

- Bachelor of Engineering

- Experience 1 to 5 years, previous field experience

- Mechanical, Process or E/I discipline engineers favoured

- Ability to work autonomously and deliver to deadlines

- Effective communication and relationship-building skills

- Proactive team player

- Work behaviours enhance the Company’s reputation

- Actively interfaces and develops relationships with Wood site and office personnel, customers and 3rd parties via regular contact and involvement

- Demonstrates ability to develop long and short-term service relationships
