Internally referred to as Trauma-Informed Care Practitioner - Children, Young People & Families

Anyinginyi Health Aboriginal Corporation is seeking two full-time Trauma-Informed Care Practitioners to join the Piliyintinji-ki (Stronger Families) team. Working alongside Aboriginal Community Controlled Health Organisations and partner services, you'll deliver culturally responsive therapeutic support while strengthening trauma-informed practice across the Barkly Region.

Duties
n
n
- Deliver trauma-informed assessments, therapeutic interventions and healing plans
n
- Support children, young people and families experiencing complex trauma
n
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and community partners to coordinate holistic care
n
- Deliver training, mentoring and workforce capability initiatives
n
- Build trusted relationships that promote healing, cultural safety and resilience
n
n
Skills & Experience
n
To succeed in this role, you'll bring:
n
n
- Tertiary qualifications in Social Work, Psychology, Counselling, Mental Health, Community Services, Occupational Therapy, Nursing,
Pastoral Care or a related discipline
n
- Experience delivering trauma-informed therapeutic support
n
- Understanding of the impacts of historical and intergenerational trauma on Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples
n
- Strong stakeholder engagement, case management and documentation skills
n
- Experience working in remote communities or Aboriginal Community Controlled Health Organisations will be highly regarded
n
- Earn $129K to $154K plus Salary Packaging up to $15,899
n
- Relocation Assistance up to $5,000 plus Subsidised Accommodation (subject to availability)
