About the Role
As a Paraplanner, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the Advice Team by producing accurate and compliant Statements of Advice (SOAs) and assisting with strategy analysis. Key responsibilities:
- Support Advisers by conducting research and analysis on client portfolios, investments, and strategy options
- Assist with the preparation of client reports, overviews,
and documentation to meet regulatory standards
- Maintain and update client records within the Xplan CRM system, ensuring data accuracy
- Collaborate with the Advice Team to facilitate smooth workflow and client service delivery
- Liaise with external providers and compliance teams to ensure proper documentation and process adherence
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Advanced proficiency in Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Strong understanding of the Xplan CRM system
- Relevant industry qualification (e.g., Diploma of Financial Planning, degree in Business, Economics, or similar) highly valued
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
- High level of organisation and time management skills
- Demonstrated ability to produce high-quality SOAs and manage multiple tasks effectively
- Understanding of financial planning, investments, superannuation, and managed accounts
