We are currently seeking an experienced People & Culture Manager to join a progressive NSW Local Government organisation and lead the delivery of strategic and operational people initiatives across the organisation.

n

This is a excellent opportunity for an experienced HR/P&C; qualified who enjoys working in a diverse environment and can balance strategic thinking with hands-on support to leaders and employees.

Key Responsibilities Will Include

n

- Lead and develop the People & Culture team, ensuring the delivery of high-quality HR services.
n
- Provide strategic and operational HR advice to senior leaders, managers and employees.
n
- Lead workforce planning, organisational development and employee engagement initiatives.
n
- Provide advice and support across employee relations, performance management, workplace investigations and complex HR matters.
n
- Oversee recruitment, onboarding, talent management and the employee lifecycle.
n




- Support organisational change and culture initiatives.
n
- Provide advice on industrial relations matters and interpretation of relevant awards, agreements and legislation.
n
- Support Council's broader workforce strategy and organisational objectives.
n

Must haves:

n

- Local government experience essential with knowledge of Local government award.
n
- Demonstrated experience in a senior HR/People & Culture management role.
n
- Experience advising senior stakeholders and managers on complex people matters.
n
- Strong leadership and people management capability.
n
- Experience leading organisational change, workforce planning and culture initiatives.
n
- Excellent communication, influencing and stakeholder management skills.
n
- A practical, solutions-focused approach and the ability to operate confidently at both strategic and operational levels.
