The Role

n

Reporting directly to the Tax & Business Services Partner, you will lead, mentor and support a small team of accounting professionals, while taking responsibility for your own portfolio of clients. Your role will encompass a combination of technical accounting, tax, client management, team leadership and advisory work, including:

n

- Managing client relationships throughout the compliance process
n
- Preparing and reviewing financial statements and tax returns across all entity types
n
- Reviewing work prepared by the team and providing technical guidance
n
- Managing, mentoring and developing team members
n
- Overseeing workflow and ensuring deadlines are achieved
n
- Providing business and tax advisory services to clients
n
- Identifying business development opportunities
n
- Assisting the Partner with the strategic direction and growth of the practice
n
- Undertaking complex compliance and project work as required
n

About You

n

You may currently be a Senior Accountant, Supervisor or Manager within a Big Four, mid-tier or larger accounting practice and be ready for a change.

n

Ideally, you will have:

n

- Several years' experience in Australian public practice
n
- CA or CPA qualification
n
- Strong Tax & Business Services experience
n
- Experience managing and reviewing accounting work
n
- Confidence dealing directly with clients
n
- The ability to lead, mentor and develop junior accountants
n
- Strong technical and communication skills
n
- A commercial mindset and genuine interest in building long-term client relationships
n
