CBR Recruitment is seeking an experienced and motivated APS6 Case Manager to join a large Federal department within the HR Branch.

n

Through the provision of timely and expert advice, guidance and support, Case Managers play an important role in building a culture of effective performance management and respectful workplace behaviours across the department, consistent with departmental and APS frameworks. As a Case Manager, you will manage a diverse caseload encompassing employee performance and conduct related matters.

Key Responsibilities

n

n
- Providing case management support in relation to employee performance and behaviour related matters, working closely with employees and managers to develop and implement strategies to address concerns.
n
- Providing case management support for Code of Conduct matters, including the coordination and conduct of investigations, procurement, brief preparation and drafting in support of decision makers.
n




- Managing complaints relating to inappropriate workplace behaviour in accordance with departmental policies and procedures.
n
- Contributing to the development, maintenance, review and update of the department's policies and procedures in relation to employee performance and behaviour.
n
- Building and maintaining effective working relationships with internal stakeholders, including senior management.
n
- Collaborating with colleagues to implement early intervention supports to secure, timely and durable return to work outcomes for employees.

What You Will Need

- Experience managing complex employee relations, performance and conduct matters.
n
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make evidence-based recommendations and exercise sound judgement.
n
- Excellent written communication skills and the ability to produce clear, accurate and well-structured documentation.
n
