$130,000 to $155,000 plus 12% super. This is a new role at New Wave, and you would build it from the ground up: the structure, the processes, and the software. SSA accreditation paid. 2pm Fridays. Mermaid Beach.

What "from the ground up" actually means

We are under 100 funds today. That is deliberate, and it is the opportunity: you are not inheriting somebody else's mess or defending a legacy process. Your first year is about getting the foundations right. What the workflow should be, what the SOPs say, where the review points sit, what good looks like before volume arrives.

You would also help design the internal software that runs it. We build our own tools: a tax planning engine, a CGT advisory engine, structure charting, an AI bookkeeping agent. SMSF is the next one, and the person in this seat decides what it does. That is a rare thing to be handed, and it only exists because the division is small enough to design properly rather than patch.

Our clients

Growth business owners who run a fund alongside the business, so the fund questions arrive attached to real structuring and strategy questions rather than in isolation. With our financial planning arm in the same building, you can give a complete answer instead of a partial one.

The role

Take the SMSF book and make it excellent: compliance, audit liaison, and every technical call

Write the structure. Workflow, SOPs, review points, turnaround standards.

Advise directly on contributions and caps, pensions and TRIS, LRBAs, in-house assets, NALI and NALE, death benefits, estate planning and wind-ups

Help design and build the SMSF tooling inside our own platform
