The business continues to grow, and we are seeking an experienced Senior Payroll Officer to join our Finance team based in Maddington.

The Role
n
This is a key role responsible for the end-to-end payroll of our Australian and to a smaller extent, New Zealand workforce, covering employees across awards, enterprise agreements, and common law arrangements.
n
The successful candidate will ideally look to grow into the Payroll Manager role in the short to medium term and then take full responsibility for payroll across the group.
n
Payroll is currently processed through Vista by Viewpoint, with an exciting transformation project underway to transition to ELMO (being Employment Hero Payroll with KeyPay engine).
n
We are looking for a true payroll professional with strong end-to-end experience, confidence in interpreting awards and enterprise agreements, and the ability to build effective working relationships across the business.

About you
n
You will bring:
n
n
- At least 7 years' experience in end-to-end payroll in a medium sized business
n
- Confidence in interpreting awards and EAs, and an ability to build effective relationships and problem solve
n
- A desire to be a key part of a friendly, high-performing finance team
n
- 1 to 2 years' experience supporting a payroll system implementation and/or deep payroll systems experience with ELMO and/or Employment Hero (not essential but highly regarded)
n
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative, detail-oriented approach
n
