As a Trade Operations Analyst, you’ll support daily trade lifecycle processes across ART’s investment portfolios, ensuring trades are accurately matched, settled, and reconciled. You’ll work closely with internal stakeholders and external service providers to maintain data integrity, investigate discrepancies, and resolve trade-related issues. With a strong focus on precision and collaboration, you’ll contribute to the smooth delivery of business-as-usual activities while identifying opportunities to enhance processes and controls. You’ll also play a role in continuous improvement initiatives, contributing to system testing, documentation, and operational uplift activities that support evolving investment operations.

This role is available as a permanent, full-time prospect based in Brisbane.

Responsibilities

Day to day, you'll:

• Execute trade matching and settlement activities across multiple asset classes.
• Maintain and update static data and ensure accurate positioning of investment records.
• Investigate portfolio changes and explain asset and currency exposure movements.
• Monitor compliance with pre and post trade rules and escalate issues where needed.




• Support reconciliations and resolve operational exceptions.
• Collaborate with brokers, custodians, and internal teams to ensure seamless operations.
• Contribute to system testing, process improvements, and documentation updates.
• Apply risk frameworks and ensure adherence to regulatory and operational standards.

Qualifications

It goes without saying you'll be a great communicator with top notch interpersonal skills. We'll also expect you to pick up problems and come up with quick, creative ways to solve them. It's quite likely you tick some of the following boxes too:

• You hold a tertiary qualification in accounting, finance, mathematics, or commerce.
• Your experience includes trade or middle office operations and reconciliation processes.
• You’ll bring knowledge of FX, fixed income, cash, and derivatives markets.
• You're confident working with asset and currency rebalancing concepts.
• You demonstrate strong collaboration and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Your ability to identify and escalate risks supports sound operational delivery.
• You’ll be eager to learn and grow your understanding of superannuation and investment operations.
