About the Role

Reporting to the Project team, the Yardperson will be responsible for maintaining the yard, supporting site logistics, handling materials and equipment, and ensuring a safe and organised work environment.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

- Maintain a clean, safe and organised yard workplace
- Assist with receiving, unloading and dispatching materials and equipment
- Conduct general housekeeping and yard maintenance duties
- Support tradespeople and operational personnel as required
- Operate site vehicles and equipment in accordance with procedures
- Participate in safety initiatives and comply with all site requirements

Qualifications

To Be Successful You Will Have

- Current Manual Driver's Licence (Essential)
- Previous experience in a yardperson, stores, labouring or similar role
- Strong commitment to workplace health and safety
- Ability to perform physically demanding work




- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- A proactive and reliable work ethic

Desirable Qualifications

- Forklift Licence (Highly Regarded)
- Experience working in mining, construction or heavy industry environments
- Basic mechanical aptitude

Residential Requirement

This is a residential position and applicants must reside in or be willing to relocate to:

- West Wyalong
- Forbes
- Or surrounding regional communities
