Hands-on Centre Manager role within a 40-place early learning service focused on leadership, team culture, family relationships, and growth.

I am currently working with a privately owned early learning service is seeking a Centre Manager to lead their team within a small, relationship-focused centre environment.

n

Licensed for 40 places, the service operates with a close-knit team and focuses on creating a calm, engaging environment for children and families. The program incorporates child-led learning, natural world experiences, literacy, science, and creative learning opportunities across the curriculum.

n

This is a hands-on leadership role suited to someone confident managing the day-to-day operations of a Centre while also supporting educators, building family relationships, and maintaining solid compliance standards.



This could be a 2IC / Assistant Centre manager looking to take a step up or an experienced Centre Director looking for a change.

Key responsibilities include:

n

- Overseeing daily centre operations
n
- Supporting programming and curriculum implementation across both rooms
n
- Managing staff performance, mentoring, and team culture
n
- Building strong relationships with families and leading centre tours
n
- Managing compliance, licensing requirements, and centre systems including Xplor
n
- Supporting occupancy growth and community engagement
n
- Maintaining presentation standards across the centre
n
- Supporting educators on the floor when required
n

About you:

- Previous leadership experience within early childhood education
n
- Strong understanding of compliance and centre operations
n
- Confident managing staff and parent communication
n
- Organised with strong attention to detail
n
- Positive and proactive approach to leadership
n
