Their workshop is equipped with modern tools and technologies to handle a wide range of automotive services, including diagnostics, repairs, and preventive maintenance.

They are seeking a skilled and experienced Motor Mechanic to join growing team at Adelaide Automen. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing a wide range of mechanical repairs and maintenance tasks to ensure vehicles are operating at peak performance.

Roles & Responsibilities:

1. High attention to detail and ability to read and understand instructions.
2. Maintain equipment and tools in good condition.
3. Test and repair electrical systems such as lighting, instrumentation, ignition, and electronic fuel injection. Inspect mechanisms of engine, transmissions, steering, or other components including dismantling and reassembling of engine parts.
4. Repair or replace broken, worn, or dysfunctional parts such as brake pads, wheel bearings etc. and test and reassembles components.
5. Inspect vehicle engine and mechanical/electrical components such as transmissions, suspensions, steering, brakes etc.



to diagnose issues accurately.
6. Provide accurate estimates of cost, time, and effort for a repair or maintenance job.
7. Re-lines and adjusts brakes and perform wheel alignments.
8. Dealing with suspensions, brakes, air conditioning, coolant and more on passenger cars.
9. Diagnosing, servicing, and repairing a variety of different brands of vehicles in compliance with manufacturer’s guidelines and ensure compliance with regulations.
10. Identifying vehicle complications through the use of specific computer programs and scanning tools.
11. Perform basic care and maintenance, including changing oil, giving tune-ups, checking fluid levels, and rotating tires.
12. Test and re-adjust to ensure repairs and maintenance are effective using testing equipment prior to hand over to client.
13. Dealing with customers on a day-to-day basis and performing duties in a timely and accurate manner.

Skills & Experience

·Minimum Certificate III qualificationis required.

·At least 1 year of relevant industry experience.

·Strong knowledge of vehicle systems and components.

·Ability to diagnose and repair a wide range of mechanical issues.

·Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to safety.

·Relevant certifications and qualifications in motor mechanics.

·Robust communication skills and the ability to work well in a team

Salary Package: $75,000 - $90,000 Plus Superannuation per annum.
