The Role
Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, the Head of Lending will be responsible for leading the end-to-end lending function across residential and commercial lending.

Joining a dynamic leadership team, you will play a key role in driving lending performance, maintaining strong credit quality and supporting the continued growth of the business. This position offers the opportunity to work closely with stakeholders across credit, sales, operations and distribution to ensure the delivery of exceptional customer and broker outcomes.

Leading a team of lending, credit and settlements professionals, you will be responsible for ensuring lending decisions are commercially sound, operational processes remain efficient and the business continues to achieve sustainable growth.

Responsibilities include:

- Leadership, management and development of the lending, credit and settlements teams
- Overseeing credit assessment, loan structuring and lending approvals across residential and commercial lending
- Driving operational excellence, service standards and settlement performance throughout the lending process
- Working closely with brokers and key stakeholders to support quality lending growth and customer outcomes
- Reviewing and enhancing credit policies,



processes and risk management frameworks
- Providing strategic insights on lending trends, portfolio performance and growth opportunities

About You

Key to this role will be your ability to lead a lending function within a fast-paced and growth-focused environment while balancing credit quality, commercial outcomes and customer experience.

This opportunity will suit an experienced lending qualified with a strong background in residential and commercial lending gained within banking, non-bank lending or broader financial services. You will possess strong leadership capabilities and the ability to build effective relationships across both internal and external stakeholder groups.

The successful candidate will ideally have 10+ years’ experience within lending, credit or risk leadership roles. You will bring proven experience leading high-performing teams, solid commercial lending expertise and a sound understanding of credit quality, policy governance and portfolio management.

You will also have exceptional communication skills and the ability to operate effectively within a dynamic and evolving business environment. Existing industry relationships across broker and lending networks will be highly regarded.
