The Role

We are recruiting on behalf of a purpose-driven not-for-profit organisation providing secure, stable and supportive homes for vulnerable children and young people.

We’re looking for an experienced Property Management professional to take ownership of the strategic and day-to-day management of its residential property portfolio.

This is not a traditional agency Property Manager role. You’ll have broad ownership across the property function, with the opportunity to improve how the portfolio is managed while contributing to an organisation making a genuine difference in the community.

Key responsibilities

- Lead the day-to-day management and performance of the residential property portfolio
- Manage tenancy requirements, inspections, property readiness and associated documentation
- Coordinate maintenance and property works, including quotes, contractors and suppliers
- Monitor property condition, compliance, safety and asset risks
- Partner with Finance on property expenditure, budgets and cost efficiencies
- Maintain accurate portfolio reporting while continuously improving property systems and processes

What we're looking for You’ll be an experienced property professional who can handle the day-to-day detail while also looking at the bigger picture of portfolio performance,



risk and forward planning.

Ideally, you’ll bring:

- Ability to create andstrengthen systems, processes and ways of working
- Strong residential property, or asset management experience
- Experience managing maintenance, contractors, inspections and property works
- Sound knowledge of Australian residential tenancy and property management practices
- Understanding of property compliance, safety and asset risk
- Experience with property budgets, expenditure, quotes and invoices
- Strong organisation, stakeholder management and communication skills
- A proactive approach to improving property systems, processes and reporting
- A current Australian driver licence is essential, along with a current Working With Children Check or the ability to obtain the relevant clearance.

Experience within community services, supported accommodation, social housing, youth services or out-of-home care would be highly regarded but is not essential.

Salary $120k–$140k + super + bonus + salary sacrifice benefits + 6 weeks annual leave.
