Job Description

- Produce regular financial reporting packs that provide visibility over business performance and profitability.
- Take ownership of key components of the month-end process, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial data.
- Evaluate financial results against expectations, highlighting trends, risks and opportunities to management.
- Provide oversight of major operating expenditures, tracking cost movements and identifying areas for improved efficiencies.
- Create meaningful performance dashboards and metrics that assist leaders in making informed commercial decisions.
- Consolidate and interpret information from various business systems to ensure accurate reporting within the finance environment.
- Work closely with operational teams and department heads to strengthen financial understanding across the business.
- Review existing reporting and finance processes,



recommending improvements to streamline workflows and enhance data quality.
- Contribute to planning cycles through financial modelling, budget preparation and forecast updates.
- Deliver detailed analysis and commercial insights to support strategic projects, business initiatives and executive decision-making.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Management Accountant should have:

- A relevant qualification in accounting or finance.
- Ability to start immediately or within short notice.
- Experience in financial reporting, budgeting, and analysis.
- Strong technical accounting and management reporting capabilities.
- Proficiency in ERP systems and Excel skills.
- Experience within transport, logistics, warehousing or mining services industries will be highly regarded.
