About us:

We are a local deli and food supplier serving fresh and casual meals, specialising in salads, deli items, and more substantial café-style fare. We also offer catering services and takeaway options with a varied menu that typically includes fresh salads and salad bar options, breakfast e.g., egg & bacon croissants, breakfast wraps, hot foods like hot dogs, hamburgers, chips & gravy, thick shakes and sweet treats e.g., mango cheesecake, scones and coffee and café drinks at affordable prices.

Position Available:

We are now looking for full-time Delivery Drivers to join our friendly team. To apply, you will need to have at least 1 year of relevant full-time(38 hours or more per week) work experience. We are offering $72K per annum

Responsibilities:

1. Plan delivery routes – Determine the best destinations and most efficient delivery routes for local food orders, considering traffic, weather, and order priority.
2. Load and secure goods – Maneuver the delivery vehicle into position for loading. Assist with packing food orders, arranging them for easy access during delivery, and securing them safely to prevent spills or damage.
3.



Verify documents – Check delivery orders, invoices, and address details against loading documents to ensure accuracy before departing.
4. Unload and confirm deliveries – Arrange and perform unloading at each destination. Obtain customer signatures or confirmations for all deliveries, ensuring customers receive the correct items.
5. Collect payments (when required) – Receive cash or card payments for COD orders and arrange accounts as needed.
6. Maintain the vehicle – Report any vehicle maintenance needs (e.g., low fuel, tire issues, brake concerns) to the manager promptly to ensure safe and reliable operations.

Requirement:

1. At least one (1) year of relevant work experience.
2. Demonstrated ability to deliver efficiently.
3. Australian Citizens and Permanent Residents are encouraged to apply.
