This is an excellent opportunity to work in a fast-paced workplace, providing critical IT support services and ensuring seamless technology operations for end users.
Your new roleAs an IT Service Desk Officer, you will provide first-level technical support, managing user enquiries and service requests through multiple channels including the service desk, phone support, and walk-ups. Your responsibilities will include hardware setup and relocations, software deployments, network troubleshooting, and onboarding/offboarding activities. You will also contribute to continuous service improvement by maintaining knowledge base documentation and user guides.
What you'll need to succeed
- Experience working in a Service Desk or IT Support environment
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Solid knowledge of Windows operating systems and Microsoft Office applications
- Experience supporting desktops, laptops, printers,
mobile devices, AV equipment, and peripherals
- Ability to troubleshoot hardware, software, and network connectivity issues
- Strong time management skills with the ability to work effectively under pressure
- Experience with user onboarding and offboarding processes
- Willingness to work rostered hours, after-hours, and weekends during peak operational periods when required
