Role/s: 2 x EL1 Senior Salesforce Administrator
The NDIA is committed to providing access to its services for Participants and Providers through digital and cloud channels. We are undertaking a major program of work involving multiple projects spanning several current industry leading technologies, including Salesforce as a core component. The Office of the CIO (OCIO) seeks an experienced Environments Engineer/Senior Salesforce Administrator to join our dynamic fast-paced team.
The role requires strong hands-on capabilities along with well-developed management skills including team leadership, stakeholder engagement, and the ability to work collaboratively across various functions.
Key duties and responsibilities
· Assist with overall team strategy and planning.
· Provide technical leadership to the environments Team.
· Develop and maintain Salesforce environment plans.
· Execute hands-on critical and complex Salesforce administration tasks to support releases, CI/CD and new projects and environment changes.
· Ensure standards and support processes are continually reviewed and improved.
· Seek out automation opportunities for improved management of the Salesforce landscape.
· Troubleshoot Salesforce issues and work with internal parties and external vendors to resolve them.
· Develop setting and code management plans to support Release plans to deploy projects and BAU fixes into Production.
· Manage support tickets with Salesforce & maintain platform security.
· Ensure documentation on processes, policies, and configuration is developed and maintained.
· Evaluate new releases of Salesforce to determine functionality requirements and provide detailed information on how changes will apply to all affected departments/users.
· Assign work activities, mentor and provide support to the environments team.
Provide support for Salesforce projects and work with team members including Developers, Testers, Project Managers, Cyber Security, Architects and Business Analysts.
