The Role CGC Recruitment is partnering with a leading commercial solar contractor experiencing continued growth across South East Queensland.
Due to a strong pipeline of secured projects, we are looking for experienced
Commercial Solar Electricians to join the team on a permanent, long-term basis.

About the Role You will work across a range of commercial and industrial solar projects, carrying out:
- Commercial solar PV installation
- Solar system maintenance
- Preventative and reactive maintenance
- Fault finding and electrical diagnostics
- Testing and commissioning
- Inverter installation and replacement
- Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) installation where required
- Electrical compliance testing
- Identifying and resolving system faults
- Working to project specifications, safety requirements and Australian standards
- Maintaining a high standard of workmanship
About You To be successful, you will have:
- Current Queensland Electrical Licence
- Previous experience in commercial solar installation and/or maintenance
- Experience with solar PV systems
- Strong electrical fault-finding and diagnostic skills
- Construction White Card
- Current Australian Driver's Licence
- SAA (formerly CEC) Accreditation highly regarded
- Experience with inverters, testing and commissioning highly regarded
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong safety focus and professional attitude
- Pride in delivering quality workmanship
