Senior Project Manager – Medical Devices

We are partnering with a global medical technology organisation to recruit an experienced Senior Project Manager to join its growing Brisbane-based team.

n

This position will lead New Product Development (NPD) and cross-functional projects from initiation through to commercialisation, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope and within budget.

n

The Role

n

Working within a highly collaborative and regulated environment, you will partner with Product Development, Engineering, Operations, Quality, Regulatory, Marketing and Commercial teams to successfully deliver complex projects.

n

Key responsibilities will include:

n

n
- Lead NPD projects from concept through development and commercialisation
n
- Develop and manage project plans, timelines, budgets and resources
n
- Coordinate multidisciplinary and cross-functional project teams
n
- Identify project risks, dependencies and potential roadblocks
n
- Develop mitigation strategies and drive projects towards key milestones
n
- Manage project dashboards, KPIs and reporting
n
- Lead project meetings and cross-functional reviews
n
- Present project progress, risks and recommendations to senior leadership
n
- Drive accountability across teams in a matrixed workplace
n




- Support continuous improvement of project management processes and tools
n

About You

n

We are looking for an organised and commercially minded Project Manager who can successfully navigate complex technical projects and multiple stakeholders.

n

Ideally, you will bring:

n

n
- 2+ years of dedicated Project Management experience
n
- Broader experience across Product Development, Engineering, Quality, Operations, Marketing or a related function
n
- Demonstrated experience managing complex cross-functional projects
n
- Experience with New Product Development (NPD) highly regarded
n
- Experience within medical devices, healthcare or another regulated industry advantageous
n
- Strong knowledge of project management methodologies and tools
n
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
n
- Ability to influence teams without direct authority
n
- PMP certification advantageous but not essential
n
