Overview:
n Our client, a global leader in electrical test and measurement technology, is seeking an experienced Electrical Test & Measurement Technician to join its service team in Homebush, Sydney. This is a hands-on technical role focused on the calibration, testing, fault diagnosis and repair of electrical test and measurement equipment used across low-, medium- and high-voltage applications. The ideal candidate will have experience in electrical testing, calibration, instrumentation or electronics repair and will be comfortable troubleshooting equipment down to component level.

What you will be doing:

n
- Perform calibration, testing and repair of electrical test and measurement equipment
n
- Work with low-, medium- and high-voltage test instruments
n
- Diagnose faults down to component level and complete corrective repairs
n
- Conduct incoming inspections and quality assurance checks
n
- Prepare detailed service and calibration reports
n
- Ensure work complies with applicable Australian Standards and internal quality procedures
n
- Provide technical support to customers by phone and email
n
- Maintain accurate service records, inventory and workshop tools
n
- Support continuous improvement initiatives within the service department
n

What you must have:

n

n
- Certificate III,



Certificate IV, Diploma or Advanced Diploma in Electrical Engineering, Electronics or a related discipline
n
- Experience in electrical testing, calibration, instrumentation or electronics repair
n
- Positive understanding of electrical theory and measurement principles
n
- Ability to read and interpret circuit diagrams and technical documentation
n
- Demonstrated troubleshooting and analytical skills
n
- High attention to detail and accuracy
n
- Good written and verbal communication skills
n
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and service documentation systems
n

n

Highly Regarded

n

n
- Experience working in a NATA-accredited laboratory environment
n
- Experience with high-voltage test equipment
n
- Knowledge of ISO 9001 quality systems
n
- Experience supporting power utilities or industrial customers
n
- Restricted Electrical Licence in NSW, or willingness to obtain one
n

n

Salary/Rate Range: AUD $100,000-$120,000, depending on experience
