The Role

Merriwa Industries is seeking an experienced and motivated Warehouse Manager to lead and coordinate warehouse, inventory, dispatch and logistics activities across the Wangaratta primary and secondary packaging operations.

This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who enjoys being actively involved in the day-to-day operation, working alongside their team and leading by example.

You will be responsible for ensuring the safe, efficient and accurate movement, storage and control of raw materials, packaging components and finished goods, while supporting production requirements and customer expectations.

Working closely with a small warehouse team, you will play an significant role in maintaining an organised, efficient and compliant warehouse operation while supporting Merriwa's commitment to providing an inclusive workplace.

This role could also be suited to an experienced 2IC looking to grow, an assistant Operations Manager or experienced Production Manager.

As Warehouse Manager, you will be responsible for:

- Leading and developing the warehouse team through a hands-on, lead-by-example approach.
- Being actively involved in the day-to-day warehouse, dispatch and logistics operations.
- Coordinating the movement, storage and control of raw materials, packaging components and finished goods.
- Managing inventory to ensure accurate stock levels and availability for production.




- Ensuring warehouse activities support production schedules and customer delivery expectations.
- Maintaining high standards of safety, quality and food safety across warehouse operations.
- Ensuring accurate reporting, record keeping and warehouse documentation.
- Identifying opportunities to improve warehouse processes, efficiency and accuracy.

- Have experience in managing and developing team members.
