About our client

Our client specialises in delivering large-scale projects. They are a market leader who offer a wide range of services, from residential to commercial construction. Their team combines technical expertise with innovative solutions to create structures that are built to last and designed for modern needs. They are looking for a civil labourer to join them in Yandina.

What You Will Be Doing

Working Monday-Friday 6:30AM starts with 8.5-9.5 hour days you will be working on a road project. You will be required to complete the following duties

- Assist pipe layers with the installation of stormwater, sewer, water and drainage pipelines
- Perform hand excavation, trench preparation and shovelling to expose services and prepare trenches for pipe installation
- Grade and level trench bases using laser levels, string lines and hand tools to ensure pipes are installed to the correct line and level
- Assist with laying, aligning and joining concrete, PVC and HDPE pipes
- Install pits, manholes, headwalls and drainage structures
- Place and compact bedding material, backfill trenches and operate plate compactors (whacker packers)



to achieve required compaction standards

What you will need

- Minimum 6 months within civil industry - exposure to roads highly regarded
- Construction White Card
- Hardworking and reliable
- Confined Space ticket (highly desirable)
