Customer Support Officer
n
As a Customer Support Officer, you'll be the first point of contact for many of our customers, providing friendly, professional assistance across a wide range of Council services. You'll respond to enquiries in person, over the phone and electronically,
helping to connect customers with the information and services they need while creating a positive experience with every interaction.

About you

We are looking for someone who:

- Enjoys helping people and takes pride in delivering friendly, professional customer service.

- Is an excellent communicator who can confidently engage with a wide range of people, whether face-to-face, over the phone or in writing.

- Builds positive relationships with customers and colleagues through empathy, patience and a genuine willingness to assist.
n
- Is comfortable using computers and enjoys learning new systems and technology.
n
- Can stay organised, manage competing priorities and remain calm in a fast-paced environment.

- Takes initiative, works well as part of a team and is always willing to lend a hand.

- Have previous customer service experience in a busy environment.

- Have a positive understanding of Council services, departments and how they work together to support our community.
