We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated EducationAssistant to join our team in a permanent,full-time position, commencing 12 October2026, or as negotiated. The successful candidate willsupport students with care and compassion, working collaborativelywith staff and families.

Key Responsibilities:

- Support the teacher in delivering developmentallyappropriate learning experiences.
n
- Prepare, organise, and maintain classroom resources and thelearning environment.
n
- Assist with classroom management, student wellbeing, andminor first aid.
n
- Work with individual students or small groups to supportlearning as directed.
n
- Observe and document student progress, providing feedbackto the teacher.
n
- Promote a safe, inclusive, and respectful classroomenvironment, maintaining professional boundaries and referringparent concerns to the teacher.
n
- Demonstrates a personal commitment to Jesus Christ,



regularchurch attendance, and alignment with SCEA's Statement of Faithand Christian lifestyle values.
n
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills toengage effectively with children, parents, staff, and otherprofessionals.
n
- Robust organisational skills with the ability to prioritisetasks and manage workload efficiently.
n
- Effective problem-solving skills and the ability to makeinformed decisions under time constraints.
n
- Demonstrate initiative, responsiveness to direction, and acommitment to ongoing professional growth.
n
- Current Working with Children Check and Department ofEducation Criminal History Clearance (or willingness toobtain).

Desirable Selection Criteria:

- Previous experience working in an early childhood orprimary classroom setting.
n
- Experience supporting children with diverse learning needs,including those with disabilities or additional behavioural,social, or emotional needs.
