Position

An exciting opportunity is available for an experienced Truck Mechanic / Heavy Vehicle Technician to join a growing commercial vehicle business based in Melbourne's northern suburbs.

Working in a modern workshop workplace, you will be responsible for the servicing, maintenance, diagnostics and repairs of a diverse range of heavy vehicles. You'll work alongside an experienced team of technicians and have access to modern workshop facilities, diagnostic equipment and ongoing technical support.

- Carry out scheduled servicing, repairs and preventative maintenance on heavy vehicles.
- Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical and electronic faults.
- Perform inspections and fault-finding using modern diagnostic equipment.
- Work across a variety of truck makes and models.
- Maintain high standards of safety, workmanship and customer service.




- Work as part of a supportive and experienced workshop team.

Candidate

We're looking for a qualified and experienced Heavy Vehicle Mechanic who takes pride in their work and enjoys working with trucks and modern vehicle technology.

You will ideally have:

- Relevant Heavy Vehicle / Diesel Mechanic trade qualification.
- Previous experience working on trucks or heavy commercial vehicles.
- Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- A commitment to quality, safety and customer service.
- A positive, reliable and qualified approach.
