About the Role

You will learn and be mentored by a group of experienced consultants, many of whom have been with the business for over 10 years. Initially you would be working with candidates to place them into permanent and temporary roles, with the goal of moving into a Senior Recruitment role working with candidates and clients within 12 months.

One of the primary functions of this role is to devise innovative sourcing strategies, develop relationships with current and potential candidates, and build a network of potential candidates and industry professionals.

This role is for someone who is looking for "not just a job" but for a role where they can immerse themselves in a position and culture and really love what they do each day.

Duties

- Screen resumes, reference check and conduct telephone and face to face interviews
- Take job briefs in consultants’ absence
- Brief candidates for both temporary and permanent positions
- Fill both temporary and permanent vacancies
- Develop a network of potential candidates and industry professionals
- Use social media platforms and professional networks to connect with potential candidates
- Devise candidate sourcing strategies
- Advise on rates, salaries and relevant awards
- Provide career advice, counseling and performance management
- Write job advertising copy
- Update and maintain talent pools
- Forecast future employer hiring needs and perform regular analysis




- Run candidate workshops
- Implement strategies for continually improving the candidate's experience
- Ad-hoc project work in relation to enhancing the candidate experience

Skills & Experience

- Outstanding communication skills
- Exceptional skills within relationship management
- Ability and desire to thrive in a corporate, fast paced environment
- Ability to think on your feet
- Talent for juggling conflicting tasks and priorities
- Previous experience within the recruitment / human resources industry/have recently graduated within a HR related discipline
- Ability to multi-task and manage competing priorities
- Solid intuition to make honest and accurate assessments on candidate suitability
- A strong work ethic and a wish to develop your career further
