Programmed Energy & Resources is currently seeking an experienced Shutdown Supervisor to join our team for an upcoming shutdown at St Ives in the Goldfields.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Supervisor with a strong fixed plant mechanical background who thrives in fast-paced shutdown environments. While this is a short shutdown, there is strong potential for ongoing shutdown work for the right candidate.

Shutdown Details

- Site: St Ives - Goldfields
- Roster: Short-duration shutdown
- Mobilisation: 21 September 2026 (PM flight)
- Demobilisation: 24 September 2026 (AM flight)
- Rate: $85 per hour flat rate
- Nightshift Supervisor
- FIFO from Perth

About the Role

As the Shutdown Supervisor, you will be responsible for leading and coordinating mechanical crews throughout the shutdown, ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently and in line with site requirements.

Your responsibilities will include:

- Supervising mechanical trades and shutdown crews
- Coordinating daily shutdown activities and work schedules
- Conducting pre-start meetings, toolbox talks and safety briefings
- Ensuring compliance with site safety procedures, JHAs, SWMS and Permit to Work systems
- Liaising with clients, contractors and site personnel
- Monitoring progress and assisting with the resolution of any issues or delays
- Ensuring work is completed safely, on time and to a high standard
- Providing strong leadership and support to the shutdown team

About You

To be successful in this role, you will ideally have:





- Previous experience as a Shutdown Supervisor within mining or fixed plant environments
- A strong Mechanical Fitter or Boilermaker trade background
- Experience supervising mechanical trades teams during shutdowns
- Solid knowledge of fixed plant maintenance and shutdown activities
- Excellent leadership and communication skills
- A strong commitment to safety and quality
- The ability to work autonomously and effectively manage competing priorities

Required Tickets & Qualifications

- Australian-recognised Mechanical Fitter or Boilermaker Trade Certificate
- Current Schedule 26
- Working at Heights
- Confined Space
- White Card
- Current WA Driver's Licence
- Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and Drug & Alcohol screen
- Ability to complete all required site inductions
