Position Type: Full-time, Rotating Roster (Days to Afternoon - Weekly Basis) Days 6.20am to 3.07pm - Afternoons 2.54pm to 11.41pm

Rate: $33.85

Job Description:

As a Mill Operator, you will be responsible for operating and monitoring machinery in our steel mill to produce high-quality steel products. You will work as part of a team to ensure the efficient and secure operation of the mill, following all relevant procedures and guidelines.

Key Responsibilities:

- Operate and monitor machinery in the steel mill to produce steel products according to specifications
- Perform regular quality checks and inspections to ensure product consistency and compliance with standards
- Troubleshoot equipment issues and perform routine maintenance tasks as needed
- Follow all safety protocols and procedures to prevent accidents and ensure a safe work environment
- Work collaboratively with team members to meet production targets and deadlines
- Maintain accurate records of production activities and report any issues to supervisors

Requirements:





- Previous experience as a Mill Operator or similar role in a steel manufacturing environment
- Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to operate machinery effectively
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and follow instructions
- Good communication skills and attention to detail
- Flexibility to work on a rotating roster
