Perth

Sharp & Carter is partnering exclusively with an established organisation to appoint an experienced HR Business Partner to join a collaborative and progressive People & Culture team.

This is a genuine business partnering opportunity, working closely with leaders across a diverse portfolio to provide both strategic and practical people advice. With a number of transformation and change initiatives ahead, the role offers the opportunity to influence broader people outcomes while remaining connected to the day-to-day needs of the business.

The Role

Working as a trusted partner to leaders, you will support the delivery of people priorities across the full employee lifecycle. Your remit will be broad and varied, with responsibilities including:

- Partnering with leaders to understand business priorities and translate these into practical people strategies and solutions.
- Providing coaching and advice across performance, leadership capability, talent and workforce matters.
- Managing complex employee relations matters including investigations, disciplinary processes and performance management.
- Supporting workforce planning, talent and succession initiatives across your portfolio.
- Contributing to organisational change and transformation initiatives.
- Partnering with specialist People & Culture teams to deliver broader people programs and projects.
- Using people data and workforce insights to identify trends, risks and opportunities.
- Supporting engagement, culture and leadership initiatives that strengthen organisational capability.
- Building strong relationships across the business and constructively challenging leaders where required.

About You

You will be an experienced HR professional who enjoys operating close to the business and building trusted relationships with stakeholders. You are comfortable moving between strategic conversations and hands-on delivery and bring the commercial awareness to understand the broader impact of people decisions.

Ideally, you will bring:

- Previous experience operating as an HR Business Partner, People & Culture Partner or experienced Senior HR Advisor.
- Strong generalist capability across the employee lifecycle.
- Sound employee and industrial relations knowledge, including experience managing complex people matters.
- Demonstrated experience coaching and influencing leaders at varying levels.
- Exposure to change, transformation, workforce planning or organisational development initiatives.
- Strong commercial acumen and the ability to understand the operational context behind people challenges.
- A pragmatic, solutions-focused approach with the confidence to challenge thinking when appropriate.
- Robust stakeholder management skills and the ability to build credibility quickly.

The Opportunity

This is an excellent opportunity for an established HR Business Partner looking for breadth, influence and exposure to meaningful organisational change, or a high-performing Senior HR Advisor ready to step into a broader partnering role.

You will join an organisation with an exciting period ahead and have the opportunity to work closely with leaders, influence people outcomes and contribute to initiatives that will shape the future of the business.

Flexibility and a range of competitive benefits are also on offer.
