We are seeking reliable, empathetic, and caring aged care support workers to assist our clients across Metropolitan Melbourne. Tasks and responsibilities include:

Responsibilities

n

n
- Assistance with hygiene and ADLs
n
- Providing emotional & social support to clients and their families
n
- Assistance with light domestic duties
n
- Providing respite opportunities for families
n
- Supporting medication administration
n

n

To ensure success in this role, you should be able to demonstrate a genuine interest for supporting and helping others, whilst maintaining professionalism, dignity, and respect towards clients and their families throughout your interactions.

n

Qualifications & experience

n

n
- Certificate III in Individual Support, or equivalent
n
- Minimum 2 years qualified experience as a support worker/personal carer, preferably in the aged care or community setting
n
- Current First Aid, CPR,



and Manual Handling Certificates
n

n

Skills

n

n
- Well-developed communication and interpersonal skills
n
- Strong written and verbal English language skills
n
- Ability to work autonomously, within your scope of practice
n

n

Other requirements

n

n
- Unrestricted Australian working rights
n
- National Police Check (or willing to obtain)
n
- Valid Victorian Drivers' Licence (unrestricted)
n
- Current fully comprehensive insurance on your private vehicle (may be used for work purposes)
n
