About the Role
n
As a Leisure & Lifestyle Coordinator, you'll plan, coordinate and evaluate a range of activities that support the quality of life and wellbeing of residents at Booleroo Centre District Hospital & Health Services.
n
You'll develop social, recreational and individual activities suited to residents with varying cognitive and physical abilities, while providing opportunities for social inclusion, stimulation and emotional support. Working as part of a holistic care team, you'll also contribute to care planning and continuous improvement in line with residents' goals.
n
About You
n
You'll bring experience working with older, frail or disabled people and a genuine interest in supporting meaningful connections and participation. You'll be organised, adaptable and confident working with initiative and under indirect supervision.
n
You'll also have:
n
n
- Experience developing and implementing recreational or social programs.
n
- Strong interpersonal, communication and teamwork skills.
n
- Good time management and the ability to prioritise.
n
- Experience working in aged care, health care and/or a rural setting.
n
- Sound computer skills, including Microsoft Word and Excel.
n
n
A Certificate IV qualification relevant to the role, or a willingness to work towards one, is desirable but not essential.
n
