Senior Technical Business Analyst – Banking, Cards & Payments

Requirements & Business Analysis

n

- Lead the elicitation, analysis, validation and documentation ofcomplex business and technical requirements.
n
- Facilitate workshops and discussions with business, product,technology and operational stakeholders.
n
- Analyse current-state capabilities, processes and systems toidentify gaps, impacts and improvement opportunities.
n
- Define future-state business and system requirements.
n

Technical & Systems Analysis

n

n
- Analyse complex applications, systems, interfaces, integrationsand data flows.
n
- Work with architects, developers and technical specialists todefine and validate solution approaches.
n
- Produce functional and technical solution designs andsupporting documentation.
n
- Analyse API, online and batch interfaces and associated systemdependencies.
n
- Perform data mapping and support definition of datarequirements.
n

Solution Design

n

n
- Develop and evaluate solution options in response to businessand technical requirements.
n
- Work collaboratively with Solution Architects and technicalteams to ensure solutions meet business objectives.
n
- Support the transition of requirements and designs intodevelopment and implementation.
n

n

Banking, Cards & Payments

n

n
- Apply strong knowledge of Banking, Cards and Payments processesand technology environments.
n
- Analyse impacts associated with card product, processing,payments and scheme changes.
n
- Support initiatives involving Credit, Debit and Prepaid Cards.
n
- Analyse payment scheme requirements and associated systemimpacts.
n

n

Stakeholder Management

n

n
- Act as a key bridge between business stakeholders and technicaldelivery teams.
n




- Build effective relationships with senior business andtechnology stakeholders.
n
- Facilitate communication between clients, vendors, technologyteams and third parties.
n
- Translate complex technical concepts into clear businesslanguage.
n

Testing & Implementation

n

n
- Support the definition of test requirements and UAT scope.
n
- Work with testing teams to ensure requirements are adequatelyrepresented in test scenarios and cases.
n

n

Documentation

n

Develop, review and maintain high-qualitybusiness and technical documentation, including:

- Business Requirements Documents

- Functional Requirements
n
- Process and Data Models
n
- Data Mapping Documents

- Gap and Impact Assessments

- Change Requests

Requirements

n

- Significant experience as a Senior Business Analyst,Technical Business Analyst, Systems Analyst or Business/IT Consultant.
n
- Strong experience working across complex business andtechnology environments.
n
- Demonstrated ability to analyse complex systems, processes,interfaces and integrations.
n
- Robust requirements elicitation, analysis and documentationskills.
n
- Experience producing functional and technical solutiondocumentation.
n
- Strong stakeholder management and workshop facilitationcapability.
n
- Ability to operate independently and provide senior-levelanalysis and advice.
n

Highly Desirable

- Banking or Financial Services experience.
n
- Strong Cards and Payments domain knowledge.
n
- Experience with Credit, Debit and Prepaid Cards.
n
- Card issuing and processing experience.
n
- Visa and/or Mastercard scheme experience.
n
- Experience with disputes and claims processing.
n
- Experience with payment integrations and interfaces.
n
- Experience with API, online and batch processing environments.
