We pride ourselves on quality workmanship, strong client relationships and successfully delivering complex projects to a high standard.
About the Role
As Project Manager, you will be responsible for your projects from handover and planning through to completion.
You will coordinate people, materials, documentation, budgets and programs while maintaining clear communication with everyone involved. You will be supported by Emrok’s management,
administration and site teams but will be expected to take ownership, make decisions and drive your projects forward.
This position is suited to someone who enjoys responsibility, solves problems before they become delays and takes pride in delivering profitable, well organised projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage multiple commercial plumbing and gas projects from commencement to completion
- Develop and maintain project programs, budgets and procurement schedules
- Coordinate tradespeople, subcontractors, suppliers and site resources
- Review drawings, specifications, scopes and contractual requirements
- Work closely with clients, builders, consultants and internal teams
- Monitor project costs, variations, progress claims and profitability
- Identify project risks and resolve issues before they affect delivery
- Manage project documentation, reporting and compliance records
- Ensure work meets relevant safety, quality and industry requirements
- Attend client, project and site meetings
- Support estimating, tender reviews and project handovers when required
- Provide clear and consistent communication to all stakeholders
- Build positive, long-term relationships with clients and project partners
About You
You are organised, accountable and comfortable taking responsibility for multiple projects. You communicate clearly,
work well with different personalities and understand the importance of following through on commitments.
You will ideally have:
- Proven project management experience within commercial plumbing, hydraulics, construction or a related trade
- Strong organisational and time-management skills
- The ability to manage several projects and competing priorities simultaneously
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong computer skills and confidence learning new software
- Experience managing budgets, programs, variations, progress claims and project documentation
- A practical understanding of construction sites and project delivery
- Strong leadership, negotiation and problem-solving abilities
- High attention to detail and a commitment to quality
- Experience in medical gas, laboratory gas or specialist gas systems would be highly regarded but is not essential. Plumbing or gas qualifications and relevant project management or construction qualifications would also be advantageous.
Most importantly, we are looking for someone with the right attitude—motivated, dependable, commercially aware, solutions-focused and ready to grow with the business.
Why Join Emrok?
- Base salary of $145,000–$160,000, based on experience
- Superannuation paid in addition to your base salary
- Fully maintained company vehicle
- Paid day off for your birthday
- Flexible working arrangements by agreement
- Strong pipeline of commercial and specialist projects
- Support from an experienced and approachable team
- Positive, family oriented working environment
- Opportunities for professional development and career progression
