Scheduling Coordinator - Home and Community Aged Care

$70,000 – $75,000 per annum depending on exp.

St Basil's Aged Care Services are excited to offer this role to support its ageing clients across the Perth metropolitan area.

In this role, you will:

Develop and oversee the client service schedule ensuring timely and effective delivery

Work closely with the Care Management team to ensure client service requirements are understood and achievable within the resources available

Work closely with the Support Worker team leader, providing service delivery feedback and opportunities for service improvement

Manage and ensure the support worker team staff rosters are correct and up to date

Regularly communicate with clients of any changes to their services

Oversee last minute variations to rosters with minimal disruption to an efficient service delivery

Assist with the onboarding and orientation of any new support worker staff members and inducting them into the use of the scheduling program

Work closely with third party organisations to ensure services are understood and delivered according to client requests.

Demonstrate compassion toward,



and an ability to manage complex behaviours often related to Ageing

Provide requested reports to senior staff within a set timeframe

Qualifications

Certification 3/4 in Business Systems/Administration or equivalent

1-2 years of aged care experience is preferred

National Police Certificate – current within 3 years

Current driver's C class license; or F Class if employed in day centre

Permanent residency is required for this position

History of building and managing complex community directed scheduling programs

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite

Experience with using vendor managed scheduling software

Written skills to the level required by this role

Verbal communication and interpersonal skills that facilitate positive care outcomes for clients; families and supervised staff members

Skills & knowledge relevant to support older people from CALD backgrounds
