We are currently seeking a professional and dedicated State Operations Manager - Clubs & Aquatics to join our PCYC State Business Team. As part of our updated structure, you will be one of two State Operations Managers responsible for leading a portfolio of PCYC clubs and aquatic centres across Queensland. This is an exciting opportunity to provide strategic and operational leadership, drive business performance and support our teams to deliver exceptional outcomes for members, young people and communities. Your New Role
As the State Operations Manager - Clubs and Aquatics, you will provide strategic and operational leadership across PCYC's statewide operations, including aquatics, sport, recreation, leisure, youth and community programs. You will lead the implementation of PCYC's Business Strategy, driving excellence, commercial sustainability, social impact, growth and continuous improvement. You will turn strategy into action, strengthen statewide operations and ensure our services continue to make a meaningful difference for young people, members and communities across Queensland. About You
- Demonstrated experience in the sport, recreation, aquatics, leisure, youth and community services sectors.
- Highly motivated and pro-active self-starter with a proven track record in effective time management to enable forward planning and meeting deadlines.
- High level communication and interpersonal skills with demonstrated ability to build sustained relationships with stakeholders
- Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and as part of a team with a friendly, positive, can-do attitude
- Ability to travel across the State, as required
- Hold (or able to obtain before commencement) a QLD Working with Children Check (Blue Card) and consent to a National Police Check
- Hold a current First Aid and CPR certificate (desirable)
- An undergraduate certificate in sport, aquatics and recreation management is highly desirable, or significant proven experience in the industry
