Own technical financial reporting, control and statutory compliance for a local manufacturing business

Your current company
We are partnering with a multinational manufacturing organisation to recruit a hands-on Finance Manager for a temporary contract based in the Wollongong region. Reporting to the ANZ Regional Finance Director, this role will suit a technically strong finance professional who can take complete ownership of financial reporting, balance sheet integrity, controls and compliance, while also supporting commercial decision-making across the site.
Your new role
This is a broad finance leadership role with a strong focus on technical accounting, financial governance and robust control. You will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and integrity of the companys financial results, managing month-end and year-end reporting, overseeing statutory and tax compliance, and maintaining a strong internal control framework. You will be the key financial accounting contact for the local operation, partnering with the locally based regional finance director and operational stakeholders to provide clear insight into business performance, cash flow, working capital and manufacturing costs.




What you'll need to succeed
To be successful, you will be CA or CPA qualified with strong experience in financial control, technical reporting and compliance. You will have the confidence to take ownership of the numbers, challenge processes where required, and ensure that reporting deadlines, reconciliations, audit requirements and statutory obligations are delivered accurately and on time. Experience within manufacturing, industrial or process-driven environments will be highly regarded.
