Your recent role
As the Investment Attraction Officer, you will provide vital coordination, research and stakeholder support to a team focused on attracting investment and supporting business growth opportunities. You will work across a variety of initiatives, helping to maintain investment pipelines, support stakeholder engagement activities, coordinate business and investment opportunities, and contribute to market intelligence, reporting and program delivery.
This is a diverse and fast-paced position that will see you working closely with internal advisors, government stakeholders, investors, businesses and industry partners to ensure opportunities are progressed effectively and professionally. Success in this role will come from your ability to manage competing priorities, build strong working relationships and provide high-quality support that enables positive economic outcomes.

What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in this role, you will bring:

- Experience in project coordination, administration, stakeholder engagement, business support, economic development or a similar environment




- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- A customer-focused approach and the ability to build positive relationships with a broad range of stakeholders
- Experience conducting research, maintaining accurate records and preparing professional reports, briefings or correspondence
- Confidence using Microsoft Office and CRM or stakeholder management systems
- The ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and professionalism
- Relevant tertiary qualifications or equivalent experience will be highly regarded
- A current C Class Driver Licence

Experience within investment attraction, grants administration, economic development, innovation, trade or government environments will be viewed favourably.
