Mills Recruitment is partnering with a leading lithium battery and new energy technology company to hire a Senior Technical Service Engineer – AI Data Center / Energy Storage (Australia), supporting after-sales service operations across Australia and Southeast Asia.
About the Role
The Challenge
Take ownership of after-sales technical support for AIDC and energy storage products, responding to customer issues, investigating faults, and coordinating timely resolution to maintain reliable product performance.

What You Will Do
- Provide after-sales technical and service training to customers and local service providers based on customer and business needs.
- Respond to customer complaints and product faults, leading onsite investigation, troubleshooting, and resolution of major issues.
- Coordinate regular inspections, preventive maintenance, and service activities across regional customer sites.
- Develop and assess regional service providers while monitoring service quality, response times, and compliance.
- Manage spare parts and tooling requirements while supporting defective product analysis, repair, and service improvement activities.
- Travel across Australia and Southeast Asia,
with approximately 40% or more travel expected, to support customer service, onsite troubleshooting, and regional service activities.
Who We Are Looking For
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or above in Mechanical Engineering, Electronics, Chemistry, or a related discipline.
- 4+ years of experience related to energy storage products and/or AIDC, with after-sales service or technical support experience preferred.
- 3+ years of overseas/local market work experience, preferably within energy storage, AIDC, or related technical industries.
- Understanding of quality management systems and basic failure analysis principles.
- Strong English communication skills, with the ability to use English as a working language.
Skills and Attributes
- Strong technical troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent customer communication and relationship management skills.
- Able to coordinate effectively with customers, service providers, and internal technical teams.
- Proactive and responsive, with the ability to manage urgent technical issues and work in a fast-paced workplace.
- Willingness and ability to travel extensively across Australia and Southeast Asia, approximately 40% or more.
