Our client is an established hospitality group with a strong presence across Brisbane and a portfolio of well-regarded venues.
We’re seeking an experienced Assistant Manager to support the Venue Manager in the day-to-day operation of a busy, high-volume venue. This is a hands-on leadership role suited to someone with a strong service background, sound operational knowledge and the confidence to lead an experienced team through busy periods.
You’ll take an active role across service, team leadership and venue administration, while working closely with the Venue Manager to maintain operational and service standards.
This role is for you if you:
- Have solid experience in bar or hospitality venue operations
- Have experience leading larger teams of 30+ across busy services
- Understand the day-to-day operational and administrative requirements of a venue
- Have strong beer, wine and cocktail knowledge
- Are confident leading from the floor and setting the standard for the team
- Take ownership and remain composed in a quick-paced environment
- Are available across a 7-day rotating roster, including days and evenings - no overnights
