This is a casual contract with casual rates between $42.33 - $47.89.

- You are required to have the right to live and work in Australia to apply for this role. This role is not suited to a working holiday visa holder.
- A valid Working with Children Check for NSW is essential. Having one or being willing to get one and to support and implement NIDA’s Child Safe Strategies is necessary to undertake this role.

About the Role

Support the day-to-day delivery of NIDA's AV operations by preparing and troubleshooting classroom and meeting room technology. Coordinating equipment bookings and inventory through Cheqroom, and providing frontline technical support across learning and event spaces. This hands-on role ensures venues are set up and ready for use, manages AV equipment and radio resources. Additionally, resolves support requests through the Helpdesk, maintains accurate asset records, and contributes to a safe, organised, and high-performing technical setting.

About You

Seeking an organised and technically capable AV professional with experience supporting classrooms, meeting rooms, or performance spaces. You'll bring strong troubleshooting skills, experience with AV, streaming and lecture capture technologies. Additionally, the ability to manage equipment, support requests, and competing priorities while delivering excellent service and maintaining accurate records. Relevant technical qualifications are highly regarded.
