Take charge of our Geraldton warehouse operations! We are seeking a hands-on Warehouse Supervisor to lead daily activities, drive efficiency, and ensure a safe, high-performing environment. Reporting to the Planning and Inventory Control Manager, you will play a pivotal role in the success of our warehousing and distribution network.
The Role
- Operations & Logistics: Plan daily schedules, coordinate storemen for accurate order dispatch and loading, and step in on the floor when peak activity demands.
- Stock & Quality: Drive inventory accuracy through regular checks, discrepancy investigations, and minimise supply errors or damages.
- Team Leadership: Mentor, direct, and motivate warehouse staff, manage coverage, facilitate communication, and contribute to appraisals.
- Safety & Compliance: Champion a zero-harm OHS culture, oversee site visitor safety, manage forklift operations, ensure strict policy adherence, and maintain facility housekeeping.
- Administration: Utilise ERP systems and digital tools to manage workflows, coordinate with transport partners, and oversee equipment maintenance.
- Roster: Monday to Friday, 8 hours per day, 40 hours per week.
About You
- Proven experience in warehouse supervision, inventory control, operating forklift and logistics operations.
- Robust commitment to workplace health, safety (OHS), and environmental compliance.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills with a hands-on approach to problem-solving.
- Familiarity with ERP systems and materials handling equipment (MHE).
- Valid High Risk Work Licence
- Active rights to work in Australia.
