The Opportunity

This is an opportunity to join one of Australia’s most established and highly regarded Tier 1 commercial builders, with a strong national presence and a growing pipeline of major projects across South Australia.

With several significant Adelaide projects underway and further work secured, the business is looking to strengthen its delivery team with an experienced Site Manager capable of taking ownership of complex commercial construction.

You will join a well-resourced project team and work alongside experienced Project Managers, Construction Managers and senior site leaders, with the systems and support of a Tier 1 setting behind you.

Whether you're already operating within Tier 1 or have built strong experience with a leading Tier 2 contractor, this is an opportunity to step into larger, more complex projects and continue progressing your career.

The Role

As Site Manager, you will take ownership of day-to-day site delivery, driving programme, safety, quality and subcontractor performance from commencement through to handover.

Key responsibilities include:

- Leading day-to-day site operations across major commercial projects
- Managing and coordinating subcontractors, trades and suppliers
- Driving construction programmes and maintaining key project milestones




- Managing site logistics, sequencing and coordination across complex builds
- Maintaining high standards of WHS, quality and compliance
- Working closely with Project Managers, consultants and project stakeholders
- Identifying and resolving site issues before they impact programme or delivery
- Leading site teams and creating a collaborative, accountable site culture

The Like Mind

You will be an experienced construction professional with a proven ability to lead commercial projects and manage complex site environments.

You will ideally bring:

- Proven Site Management experience within commercial construction
- Experience delivering projects valued approximately $30M+
- Exposure across sectors such as apartments, health, government, education or major commercial developments
- Strong knowledge of construction sequencing, structures, services and project delivery
- Proven subcontractor and site team leadership capability
- Strong programming, organisation and problem-solving skills
- A collaborative approach with the confidence to work across clients, consultants and project teams

You may already be working for a Tier 1 contractor or be a strong Site Manager within the Tier 2 market ready to make the move into larger-scale construction.
