Join a highly regarded engineering consultancy delivering some of South East Queensland's most exciting urban development projects.

We're seeking a Lead Civil Drafter to play a key role within a growing civil team.
You'll provide technical leadership across a range of land development and infrastructure projects, overseeing drafting delivery, mentoring team members, and working closely with Engineers, Designers, and Project Managers to ensure high-quality outcomes.

As a Lead Civil Drafter, you will:

- Lead the preparation and review of civil design documentation for urban development projects
- Coordinate drafting resources across multiple projects to ensure timely delivery
- Mentor and support drafters and designers, helping develop team capability
- Work closely with Project Managers and Engineers to deliver projects on time and within budget
- Provide technical input across roads, earthworks, stormwater, sewer and water infrastructure designs
- Resolve complex drafting and design challenges
- Contribute to project planning, resource allocation and documentation standards
- Build solid relationships with internal stakeholders, clients and consultants

About You





- Extensive experience in civil drafting within an engineering consultancy environment
- Proven experience delivering urban development projects across QLD or Northern NSW
- Strong proficiency in 12d Model, AutoCAD and/or Civil 3D
- Sound understanding of civil infrastructure design
- Ability to manage multiple projects and competing deadlines
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality documentation
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to mentor junior team members
- Relevant Design or Drafting qualification
