This is a rare opportunity for an experienced planning leader to take ownership of the end-to-end merchandise planning function for a well-known, high-growth Australian retail business, and to lead its transformation into a scalable, commercially-focused function fit for future growth.

Reporting to the General Manager and sitting on the Merchandise & Planning Leadership Team, you will drive the strategy behind inventory investment, demand forecasting and in-season trading performance across all categories and channels. This is a business-critical role with genuine influence over commercial outcomes, working closely with Buying, Finance, Supply Chain and Executive stakeholders.

You will own the planning systems roadmap, lead adoption of current tools and ways of working, and champion process simplification and standardisation, all while building and developing a high-performing,



multi-layered team through this period of change.

About you:

- Significant senior leadership experience in merchandise or commercial planning within retail, FMCG or another customer-led environment, with proven success leading large-scale systems, process or organisational transformation
- Strong commercial acumen and the ability to influence executive stakeholders through data-led decision-making
- Demonstrated success leading and developing large, multi-layered teams through change
