Senior Chemistry Teacher

Exciting opportunity for an experienced Chemistry teacher to join a well-established Brisbane secondary school on a 12-month contract.

The Role:
ANZUK Education is currently partnering with a highly regarded Brisbane secondary school to recruit an experienced Senior Chemistry Teacher for a 12-month contract, commencing immediately.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a stable and supportive science faculty within a school known for strong academic outcomes, clear systems, and a collaborative staff culture. The successful candidate will be confident teaching senior Chemistry and comfortable delivering some content in an online or blended learning workplace.

Key Responsibilities

- Deliver high-quality Chemistry lessons across senior year levels
- Plan and implement engaging lessons aligned with the Australian Curriculum and senior syllabi
- Create a positive, structured learning environment that supports student engagement and achievement
- Use a range of assessment and feedback strategies to support student progress
- Work collaboratively within the science faculty and broader school community
- Adapt teaching approaches to suit both face-to-face and online delivery formats

Requirements

- Current Queensland College of Teachers (QCT) registration or eligibility
- Confidence using digital platforms and online teaching tools
- Strong communication and classroom management skills
- Commitment to professional growth and reflective practice
