Location: Capricorn Copper Mine
Start Dates: 13 September 2026 & 13 October 2026
Pay Rate: $52.00 per hour flat rate
Roster: 15 days on / 13 days off
Hours: 12-hour shifts
Shift: Day shift only
About the Role
You will be responsible for preparing breakfast and crib meals for site camp personnel while maintaining high standards of food safety, hygiene and presentation.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook breakfast meals
- Prepare crib meals for site personnel
- Maintain food safety and hygiene standards
- Ensure food preparation areas are clean and organised
- Work efficiently in a busy camp environment
- Follow site and kitchen procedures
- Complete general kitchen duties as required
About You
To be successful, you will have:
- Previous experience as a Chef, preferably in a camp or remote workplace
- Ability to prepare meals efficiently for a large workforce
- Strong food safety and hygiene awareness
- Reliable and hard-working attitude
- Ability to work 12-hour day shifts
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Availability to commit to the 15/13 roster
Mandatory Medical Requirement
Candidates must be available and willing to complete a full medical prior to commencing.
