The role:

As a Business Development Manager, your main focus will be growing new business within the dealer market segment and maintaining successful relationships with our existing customers. You will be responsible for ensuring revenue budgets are met, sourcing new business, promoting business values and assisting in the growth of the dealer segment. Additionally, you will be responsible for ensuring that the products and services we provide in this sector represent best in class and are constantly evolving to reflect the changing needs of our customers and the demands of the marketplace.

You will be on the road the majority of your week meeting customers within your defined area across NSW. The remuneration package includes a competitive base + motor vehicle allowance + commissions, as well as tools of the trade such as a laptop and a smart phone.

Responsibilities:

- Positively embrace field support tools and provide input to ongoing market analysis to develop sales and marketing effectiveness




- Prospect and account manage new business opportunities to meet targets and objectives
- Manage and grow a set of existing accounts, ensuring ongoing satisfaction and identifying opportunities for expansion
- Prepare and deliver compelling customer proposals and tender responses aligning with business requirements
- Proactively assess customer needs and collaborate with key stakeholders to meet account performance objectives and customer expectations
- Provide feedback to support product and services enhancement, engage in performance development tools, and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement

Skills & Experience:

- Experience in automotive retail industry preferable, but not essential
- Ability to build relationships
- Strong communication and decision-making skills
- Intermediate working knowledge of Microsoft Suites e.g. Word, Teams, PowerPoint, etc
- Intermediate working knowledge of SAP or other CRM system would be desirable
