An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Payroll Specialist to join a collaborative and high-performing payroll team.

The Role
Reporting to the Payroll Manager, you will be responsible for the accurate and compliant processing of a large, complex payroll environment. Supporting a diverse workforce across Australia, you will play a key role in payroll delivery, compliance, reporting and process improvement initiatives.

Key responsibilities include:

- End-to-end payroll processing across multiple pay groups
- Interpretation of Awards, Enterprise Agreements and legislative requirements
- Maintaining payroll data integrity and employee records
- Processing payroll adjustments, deductions, leave transactions and superannuation
- Responding to employee and stakeholder payroll enquiries
- Payroll reconciliations, reporting and compliance activities
- Supporting payroll system updates, testing and implementation activities




- Liaising with internal stakeholders and external agencies as required
- Contributing to continuous improvement and process optimisation initiatives

About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:

- Demonstrated experience in end-to-end payroll within a medium to large organisation in an ECP or SAP environment
- Strong knowledge of Australian payroll legislation, payroll tax and superannuation requirements
- Experience interpreting Awards and Enterprise Agreements
- Advanced problem-solving and analytical skills
- Strong stakeholder engagement and communication abilities
- Strong Excel skills and confidence working with large volumes of data
- A proactive, detail-oriented and compliance-focused approach to payroll operations
