Our client is a leading provider of field services and metering solutions, supporting customers across Queensland and New South Wales. Due to continued growth, they are seeking an experienced State Scheduling Coordinator to manage technician scheduling, resource planning and operational workflow across a designated region.
Your new role
As the State Scheduling Coordinator, you will oversee daily technician scheduling, resource planning and operational workflow across your region. Responsible for building and managing technician runs, coordinating priority and compliance-based work, and ensuring service levels are achieved, you will play a key role in maximising workforce productivity and operational efficiency. Working closely with field teams and internal stakeholders, you will manage scheduling priorities, resolve resourcing challenges and contribute to continuous process improvement in a fast-paced environment.Your Responsibilities:
Coordinate daily technician schedules and optimise runs across assigned regions. Schedule and manage priority, compliance, life-support and new connection work. Monitor workloads, resource allocation and technician utilisation to achieve service targets. Provide accurate WIP and reschedule updates to internal stakeholders. Resolve scheduling challenges, escalations and operational issues.
Prepare performance reports and contribute to workforce planning and continuous improvement initiatives.
What you'll need to succeed
Previous experience in scheduling, workforce planning, logistics coordination or resource allocation.
- Strong organisational and prioritisation skills in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to manage multiple competing priorities while maintaining accuracy.
- Experience working with scheduling, workforce management or operational systems.
- Advanced problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Solid stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
- High level of computer literacy, including Microsoft Office Suite and SAP.
- Experience coordinating field-based or mobile workforces is highly regarded.
